ABOUT ME
I’m Ana Žugić, an independent film editor based in Belgrade, Serbia. I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Film Editing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
In 2017, I had the Opportunity to participate in the Looking China project, where I directed my short essay film Still City. Two years later, I joined the Talents Sarajevo program, a part of the Sarajevo Film Festival. In 2021, my editing work on Telenovela: Greyscale in Color earned me the Best Editing award in the Serbian Competition category at the Beldocs Festival.
Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from feature films and documentaries to series, music videos, and experimental forms. As a director, I enjoy exploring both narrative and experimental storytelling. Some of my works include Still City (2017), The Place on Earth (2015), and a series of music videos.
